No, he didn't. He called this thug exactly what his thug buddies call him. I'd call him that here, too, but the cuckoldry is too strong.

Tampa judge on Monday also ordered Corey Pujols, 27, to complete 200 hours of community service and attend an anger management course.

Guys, it was only manslaughter. Not like he walked into Congress with a MAGA hat!

I'm okay with this. Old man shouldn't have been spouting off. Don't start no shite, won't be no shite. The kid didn't deserve to get off scot-free, so house arrest and community service is okay with me.

Why single out white people?

he punched someone that likely deserved to get punched and got a criminal conviction out of it. How is that not being responsible for his actions. Seems like an appropriate punishment considering the totality of the circumstances.

No sympathy for a sexual predator and racist. He fricked around with Pujols and found out the consequences.

Amazing.

if we start giving reasons to kill a person as a cause for light sentences like “he said mean things” or some other variable that has nothing to do with this case, then we are screwed as a country. What does this say to society?

While I want to hear your point, I do not believe that a one sized fits all criminal justice system, one that ignores human and situational context, intent, etc. is best for society. I think these matter for justice.

Consequences to actions is a real thing. Some people have to find out the hard way.

So next time someone says something offensive to me, I can take a baseball bat to their head.

Gotcha.

If you are willing to accept the consequences, go for it.

First, he pleaded guilt to felony battery.

Second, while he was initially charged with Manslaughter, did he commit manslaughter?

House arrest and community service isn't too bad huh?

And if you think he's gonna sit in his house for two years, you're as stupid as the judge.

Okay, let’s flip i around. Some mean old black man calls a white teen a cracker, and the teen punches him and he dies.

You think that stupid kid is gonna get community service?

No, we’ll see him blasted as the face of racism and it will be on the news 24/7 and there will be marches and riots and looting and “no Justice no peas” and they’ll demand he be locked away for life.

Let’s be real here.

Old white guy hits you with the n word and gets socked. Most any other black person refers to another black person the n word and it might as well be a pleasant greeting.

Still, old white guy should know how the world works.
