This is only true if you don't know they're there until they're right on top of you. Like I said earlier, this guy should have seen these guys coming long before they got there. His failures were multiple
1. Putting his daughter in danger by having her in that park at that hour.
2. Being unready to defend himself and her in case anything did happen while there.
3. Being oblivious to his surroundings and not identifying an easily identifiable threat in time to react
Not to deflect the blame from the scum, arse wipes. but the dad was lacking in sitrep and used poor judgement.
ETA: I see it happened in New York. The worst state for gun-owners and raping the 2nd.

You meant four Dindus.
Actually 2 of them were turned in by their mothers. Wouldn't that be the exact opposite of a dindu?

Actually no, it isn't.
In fact, the NYT may be the most consistently duplicitous source in mainstream journalism.
Yes it is. Say what you want about their political op-eds, but the paper itself is one of the best in the world, and it's damn sure more credible than whatever the hell ClashDaily with Doug Giles is.

Bottomline: 5 subhominoids gangraped an 18 yr old girl in a public park, and the focus by some here is on the fact her father may have made a "bad" decision?
Think about that!
Pointing out seemingly inexcusable actions by the father is not redirecting the focus.

It kinda is. The suspects are in custody already and some have apparently already admitted to sex with the girl, claiming it was consensual. And you didn't really point out inexcusable actions. You pointed to apparent holes in his story when we really have a very limited idea of what happened.

It's pretty obvious who here has kids and who doesn't.

i agree but it probably would have been you died and she got raped for longer time cause daddy couldn't return with cops.

Why is it taking so long to link this gang to Islamic terrorism?

There are a number of bizarre things about this story. Dad takes 18 year old daughter to a park in a very sketchy area at night to drink beer. Something's not right about that.
Then, these hoodlums show up and tell Dad to haul it or what? I don't know the answer. Dad leaves his daughter with the 5 hoodlums and claims to call 911, right? But didn't the article say there wasn't a 911 call?
So, did the hoodlums keep Dad's cell? Did he have one on him? Did the hoodlums think letting the Dad go was going to give them all time to rape the girl because Dad wouldn't find help? Apparently, it did give them time.
The whole scenario is really strange and I wonder why Dad agreed to leave the daughter? Was he thinking if he could get help, she might survive? How would he know that they weren't going to kill her or kidnap her?

What if you died and your little girl STILL get raped, and then killed after?

Well, some of us are capable of looking at smaller details while still focusing on the main crime (which is undoubtedly horrific). Sorry this is beyond your mental capacity.
Also, I said "seemingly inexcusable". Which means that this is the "face value" judgement, implying that this is subject to many more yet to be released details.
I think you're trying to pick an argument where one doesn't really exist.

What if they backed down and nothing happened?
Posted on 1/11/16 at 2:20 pm to blueboy
They have the men on video entering a bodega. That's what they're asking for assistance with from the public.
