I got 1000 rounds delivered just yesterday.
Of course, it was my monthly/bimonthly order that I placed when I was still able to go to the range once a week and throw a couple hundred rounds downrange. Now, I'm just gonna have 30 pounds of lead and gunpowder sitting in my closet... waiting...
It's stunning how quickly it disappeared. In two weeks, we went from wide availability to crap ammo going for twice the price of good brands, if you can even get the order placed before it sells out.

Academy had a three box limit in SC and NC. I stopped in there mid day last week and the ammo aisle was full of people.

I dont hoard ammo, but I have guns and I shoot them a lot, so naturally I have a lot of rounds for each. Usually buy like once a year for each caliber, guess I'll hold off a couple months for a restock.

Since that link to Lucky Gunner was posted, they have sold 10,000 rounds of the Speer Lawman. I have not been tracking the other stuff they have available, the Lawman was just the first on the list. They'll be sold out in two hours again.
ETA: and they just added about 50,000 rounds of 9mm inventory to what was dropping. They must be unloading trucks right now. That site runs live inventory.

That's one reason why I carry a .357 Sig. Can always find some ammo.

If you think you are going to need more than a few boxes of pistol ammo, I would start rethinking my plan, and get my protectable perimeter extended out a bit further. If you are using up a lot of pistol ammo, you are letting them get too damn close.
