First African American to Play Basketball at UK Granted Parole From Life Sentence

Tom Payne, 68, served time in 3 states for 3 rapes and was eventually sentenced to life in prison. He was paroled today after serving 30 years.

My first thought when I read your title was “Damn a life sentence for playing basketball with white guys? Jim Crow laws were harsh.” Then I read the story and realized he’s a piece of shite that raped three women.
