OP is afraid restaurants reopening will kill his unemployment. True story.

If I’m being honest I still want to fight him for his commentary about Overpass Merchant. That place is fricking delicious.

Wait, what's wrong with Merch?

Anyway - They've been doing check-ups and raids on local restaurants/bars for a few weeks now, and they've doubled down in the past 2 weeks. I don't think this has anything to do with the BBQ place. Moreso JBE cracking down on us as he continues to rile himself up during our weekly scoldings.

I think its absurd that anything is closed, but if we are being real, Ivars has been open since phase 1 and is not following ANY guidelines. So lets not blame some rando in Denham Springs.

Glad to see Duvics was able to hop onto the restaurant train. Hopefully the mess gets straightened out. Been missing that place.

For south Louisiana, it's about as good as you can get. Not bad by any means.

I picked up at Sonny's BBQ several weeks ago. First time I'd been there in about 15 years. Sonny's BBQ was not near as good as folks make it out to be IMO.

Please let me know which restaurant “of the industry” you are in so I can make sure you get my proper attention in the future.

can't imagine that blatantly refusing to abide by a judge's order is going to turn out well, at least in the short term for sure.

Judge Ricks is part of the good ol boy club here in Tangipahoa Parish. They're all Edwards sycophants. You could imagine my shock that she was the one who did the order.

These are the same small businesses that the slimy cocksucker governor threatened to increase taxes on. I don't blame any business owner in the state for hating his sorry arse.

They were open yesterday, after the TRO. Slammed all day and sold out of food. Always closed on Sunday. We will see tomorrow.

For those asking, the food is good. Changed hands recently and had some transition issues, but I had brisket and ribs this week and it continues to be the best I have had in the area.

And its Firehouse, not Fireside.

What were you expecting? When you buy BBQ from a restaurant, it's not going to be as good as the BBQ you make in the backyard. Same as a steak.

Firehouse BBQ is the most patriotic company out there. Screw all the haters.

OP would easily board a train if the government told them to.
