Hate to point out the obvious, but he meant how high above the firefighters window. Not the ground.

Great catch.

FWIW: In Chinese cultcha, he’s now be responsible for the rest of whatever she does with her life, since he saved her.

LOOK AT THEESE frickING HEROES!!!

I cheered out loud when I saw this. The only thing that kept that man from being pulled out the window was his wingman holding his legs and their massive brass balls. Good catch!!

Another Captain Obvious here, but it was either 1 or 2 floors above. If that firefighter was on floor 1 then the ground broke the fall.

I’m going with 1 floor above for two reasons. First, isn’t it obvious that the firefighters would go to the next lower floor? And second, there is no way he catches a fallen body from 15 feet above (one and a half floors).

Gravity is 32.2 ft/s^2. So a 15’ fall would be 0.965 seconds 15=(32.2 x t^2)/2

Velocity at 15’ is V = 32.2 x 0.965 seconds = 31.08 ft/sec = 21.2 mph (I think. Didn’t check my work)

I think I left out a 1/2 factor. Old age setting in. Hopefully a youngster comes in and rescues me from myself. Got it right, now (maybe)

Actually, now that I think about it, a two floor drop is probably closer to 20 feet. That would yield. V = (32.2 x 1.1145) = 35.9 ft/s = 24.47 mph

When you're anchored by a set of testicles that large you can perform such feats as this.

Yeah of course common sense says he would be one floor below her for the best result. Just thought it was funny he listed the height of the building when that wasn't what the question was.

I can’t believe how crazy this is. My emotions are all over the place.
1) Firefighter has friggen balls.
2) Frick that girl for committing suicide, but then again I have never dealt with that level of depression so I don’t have room to talk.
3) I pray she recovers and appreciates the gift she’s been give and somehow uses it to honor that fireman’s efforts.
4) I can’t believe how fricken badass that dude is.
5) I have some very close friends that lost their son to suicide about 3 years ago and they would give anything in the world to be given a second chance to help him.
