How often do you see deer bow hunting? How do they even draw the string back with hooves?

Holy shite man. So many questions

How did he trap you?

How did they find you?

Why did he do it? I know you said he's crazy but did he have a crazy motive?

Did your parents ever let you go outside again?

You certainly have a sympathetic case if you can get it in front of a jury.

That's terrible. I couldn't imagine going through that.

Got jumped by freak outside of Rushton Park on the southside of Birmingham. Birmingham peeps will know where I am talking about...it's the park at the end of Highland Avenue before it dog legs by the golf course going to Clairmont Avenue. It's a notorious hang-out for freaks and park figs.

I lived in Forest Park the adjoining neighborhood and was out for a walk. This fricker tried to jump/grab me as I was cutting through an alley....picked a very stout stick off the ground and beat him within an inch of his fricking life.

Bluff charged by a brown bear. There's no way of knowing whether it's real or a bluff, so it's pretty damn scary.

Yes, I have always tried to remove myself from the situation.

There used to be a running joke that if you saw me throwing a punch, you had better grab some kind of weapon... Because the situation had truly devolved into shite.

I have been in the woods at night in Louisiana and had every hair on my body buzz. Put my back to a tree and waited whatever it was out.

But the best one ever was when we were riding in Pennsylvania and stopped for a smoke. I walked off to take a leak and when I looked up there was a bear about 15 ft away just stalking toward me. Every single part of my body was screaming run and some primal part of my brain said to roar at the fricker.

So I postured up and let out a sound I wish I could reproduce for LSU game days. That bear turned tail and sprinted away. I legit almost shite my pants.

I walked back from behind the rocks and the guys I was riding with were freaked out because they didn't know what made the roar

Had there been a low hanging branch, you'd have seen a fat man climb a tree.

My dog does the fighting -

Taking train pictures in an area near Fertitta's (sketchy neighborhood but the local residents have never been a problem). I'm where the blue circle is, meth head white guy with a club comes up the hill towards me, cussing and acting crazy. I was away from the car but I start walking back to the car (firearm in my camera bag in the trunk). My Aussie Shepherd is in the woods looking for copperheads. Dog comes flying out of the woods full speed (she confronts anyone who comes up)(yellow arrow). She gets in front of him barking, he kicks her which ramps her up to full fight mode. She wore him out, and he took off running (red arrow going away). The cops never found him, but he definitely took some bites.

As bad as most railroad areas are, I've only had a few confrontations (and I'm either with my dentist friend who packs heat on him and/or the dogs).

Yea kinda sorta. My folks were looking at buying another house in the neighborhood and left my older brother in charge. He fell asleep, I went outside and playing in the ditch (strangely enough). Kidnapper saw me outside and tricked me to come over.

quote:

How did they find you?

In his second story house (he shared it with his mother who was visiting family out of state from what I recall), he asked if I wanted to leave. I said of course so he opened the window and as I stuck my head out, he tried to slam it. I grazed my head but was able to pull my head out right in time. He asked again and this time, by the grace of Allah/God/whomever, my regular babysitter just happened to be riding by on her bike and she both saw and heard me scream - jig was up for him. Fire and police were notified and I was rescued probably 20 mins later.

I never said he was crazy because he wasn't crazy - he was mentally "challenged". Mongoloid. Brute as frick too - barrel chested dude. No reason why he did it. Maybe to keep me as a toy? Who knows. Maybe to defy his mom for leaving him alone?

quote:

Did your parents ever let you go outside again?

This is going to sound fricked up b/c at the time it was very much fricked up, but my mom dragged me over there the very next day to confront him and as a 7 year old kid, I was f'ing petrified. I did just that and my life (from that perspective) couldn't be any better. I don't fear much of anything which could be interpreted a million different ways.

My parents opted not to press charges on him for a variety of reasons - primary one being that his mom more than likely would've died and she was a family friend to my grandmother who also at the time lived in our neighborhood. I know a lot of people would probably disagree with that decision and I can also understand why they would disagree, but everything worked out in the end. The kidnapper, named Johnny, died literally 1 year to the date of my abduction so justice was essentially served in that regard.

Yes. I don't have the flight portion of this. My instincts actually make me move toward danger instead of away from it or standing still.

I'll post an okay story. Nothing spectacular, but could've ended badly.

Was hanging around a fire with a couple of guys and some buddies. One guy started talking shite, so I confronted him. He stopped, but he went and grabbed a machete and came after me swinging it. I threw a log at his face that stunned him, and then beat his arse all over the place. We ended up underneath a camp with him barely conscious. I grabbed an axe and was walking back to hit him with it. Luckily my baw grabbed it from me when I got a few feet from the dude. I picked up a handful of dirt, opened his eyes, and dumped it in. The end.

I'm not gonna give too many details, but I was asleep in the car while wife was driving and kids in the back. Woke up and saw some dude coming at our car(parked on a street) and got into a fight. He wasn't getting near my family.

Recently, had a guy jump from I-55 bridge in Ruddock to save a lady whose car had gone over. That's some macho shite right there.

A couple of times I've been in life threatening situations. Time really does slow down. It's like I was watching myself in slow motion in a movie.
