Recently I took my wife and daughter somewhere and they had Moon Pies. My wife was saying how much she loved Moon Pies when she was a kid. I told her I hate them for the same reasons as you describe. She got one anyway and convinced our daughter to get one as well. My daughter ate only one bite while my wife at almost half before giving up an admitting they are indeed gross.
