I am honestly confused by the distinctions here. A 2 lb fetus is a miscarriage. At how many weeks/what weight is it not okay to flush the "products of conception." Age of viability? It can't be both okay to abort a baby at X number of weeks but charge someone with a crime for a miscarriage at the same gestational age. Idk. The world really doesn't make any sense to me anymore.

If you click the link, they said the baby was 28-32 weeks. My now teenage daughter was 28 weeks and 3lbs at birth and has been in perfect health her entire life.

Aside from that, it's not legal to dispose of a human corpse in that way, at any age.

Should have dropped the baby off on the doorstep of one of BR's many hair salons

I'm talking about the poster who said someone flushed a 2 lb baby.

Absolutely. Things like this should never have an opportunity to ever breed again. Kill it, the baby daddy, the family and everything associated with it in an effort to save this city and planet. We must start the process now.

Yeah. But I’m pretty sure most babies as small 2 pounds would die quickly, if even born alive, without medical attention.

My point is that I think it’s likely the baby wasn’t killed intentionally at least.

UPDATE:

Coroner determines fetus was 268 grams(<1 lb), about 20 weeks, and that lungs were never used so consistent with stillborn miscarriage.

No charges will be pursued.

They should still search for the thing that birthed it. It is critical to take the necessary medical steps to keep this thing from breeding again. It needs to be caged, killed or something.

So is the OT pissed at God now? Nah, that would mean the posters that were calling for the mom to be killed to be consistent. A little too much to ask in this day and age.

FWIW, 268 grams is a little over half a pound.

I hope your wife never has a miscarriage and you find out the emotional pain and hurt a miscarriage brings.

This. Miscarriages cause shock and trauma beyond belief. I can see this easily being a confusing situation to go through. A half pound baby has no viability whatsoever. Maybe we should hope the mother got the care that she needs physically and emotionally.
