A former college hoops coach has a show on the local sports station. Apparently, the NCAA will allow a male to compete in women's sports, of he identifies as a female, and has been taking testosterone suppressant (Estrogen, as he defined it).
He said some coach should recruit 12 average male players, put them on estrogen for a year, and win a national title in women's hoops.

I read through like 200 comments. The vast majority, like 95+%, were in support.
A few people took issue with the word "wishes", but otherwise it was tame. Methinks "uproar" is bit hyperbolic.
ETA - and she's absolutely correct. It gets a little dicey with people who are born intersex, but these governing bodies should be able to handle those unique situations differently than transgendered folks.

Four years of free education and four National Championships isn't a bad deal. There isn't a set amount of estrogen you're required to take. Play ball and then immediately start juicing after school.
