A female hunter said she is receiving death threats after modeling for a streaming service that features hunting and fishing content.

Johanna Clermont, 23, said that becoming a “hunting influencer” with more than 300,000 followers on social media has resulted in death threats, according to Fox News.

Clermont, who models for the streaming channel Zone 300, said she has been threatened since she was 16 years old for her hunting enthusiasm and has even changed her name to combat bullying.

Clermont said she is undeterred by the threats and is aiming to challenge the perception that the average person has about what hunters look like.

“I know it may be surprising to see a young blond like me,” she said. “But I want to break the stereotypes.”

“Pissing people off is my second passion,” she added.

The law student added that she has also received criticism from fellow hunting enthusiasts who don’t care for how she markets herself.

“We don’t share the same way of seeing things. To be a spokesmodel and remain independent seem difficult to me,” said Martine Pion, president of the National Association of Female Hunting. “So the guys find her pretty, fine. I’m perhaps gullible, but our cause is not about looks.”
