I haven’t heard a peep from FEMA but maybe I’m out of the loop.

That's not how our government does it now. They will stay here for a while, frick some shite up and then they will leave all the water, ice and MRE's for us to come get when they leave. They might even leave some pallets of taxpayer cash.

Check the mayor's website. Maybe she has it listed on there. Good luck!

Trump would have already been here surveying the damage. With the dementia patient at the helm, FEMA won’t be anywhere. Look how he left folks at the Kabul airport.

Drove to Henderson earlier and there were a ton of FEMA vehicles heading westbound on 10. Seemed a bit counterintuitive they were going that way. Maybe headed to Morgan City and that area?

Does anyone know if FEMA is going to stage MRE/Water/Ice pickup locations like they did for Katrina and Gustav?

Where's the disaster card staging at?

After Katrina the ones we were given had about 6-7 years before expiration. They are reinspected at regular intervals to see if they are still edible or not.

During the Vietnam War it was common for service members to eat 20-25 year old C-rations. MREs are supposed to be more stable than that.

They've listed 7 places today and 8 place for Wednesday for Orleans Parish.

Orleans

But, all they've publicly said about St. Tammany is that the Village church will be cooking at the Lacombe fire department headquarters today and giving away food starting at noon.

Other Parishes

I would not put it past Raping Joe's FEMA to just dole out water and MREs to Orleans Parish and tell the majority white parishes to go f*cking themselves.

FWIW- there was a POD set up at Firsts Baptist Church in Covington this morning. Started at 9am. Line was a half mile long at 7:30am. It goes incredibly quickly though. You get 2 MREs and 6 bottles of water per person in the car. 1 big bag of ice. I told them I had 6 others at my home and I got an extra 2 MREs and 6 bottles of water. Not worth going to one of these unless you are in an extreme desperation. Which no one in this area is given grocery stores are open.

Much different than the Katrina days when they gave you an entire box of 12 for every person you had at your house.
