We have a Point of Distribution site (PODS) set up and open this morning in Covington off Bootlegger Rd (HWY 1085 -Near HWY 21) at First Baptist Church Covington, LA. St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's office is providing security - please have patience and follow their directions.
MREs, water and ice will be provided.
**UPDATE** - 2 MREs, 6 bottles of water, and 1 bag of ice per person.
St. Tammany Parish submitted a request for a PODS on the east side of the Parish at the same time of the Covington request. We are still awaiting approval from the state. As soon as we have clarification, we will provide details.
