Fellas, how was Christmas this year?

Studies show men don’t feel appreciated during Christmas relative to what they put in. Anyone got something sweet from friends or family? I ain’t got shite so want to live vicariously

I bought the wife a Lexus and now I'm at work to help pay the $600 car note while my wife is probably DMing a Jody somewhere that is currently meeting her emotional needs. I feel appreciated other than that.

Got some new underwear from the wife and a folding table and Robby Krieger's book about life on the road with Jim Morrison from my brother and SIL.

Best I ever had in my life. My son is 17 months and OBSESSED with cars. He's particularly drawn to white trucks for whatever reason...so I got him a ride in white truck that starts as one I can remote control and transitions into one he can drive... radio, headlighst everything.. When I took him outside for him to see he LOST HIS MIND.
My wife got me a few thoughtful things, but had I not unwrapped jack shite it still would have been the best christmas I ever had.

I was a little annoyed. I’m paying off some unexpected things right now and when people asked me what I wanted, I was very specific. Please don’t give me anything that won’t save me money as I’m in full payback mode.
Then I get all these random cheesy bullshite. I did feel ignored. I openly communicated and was just ignored. In the scheme of things, it’s nothing. Still annoyed.

I got several model kits and modeling supplies, some flannel shirts and fleece vest. My favorite gift came from my son though. He bought me a Fossil watch…
… I know the watch snobs will shite on it. It probably cost at most $100 - $150. But I think it’s sharp and my son bought it with his own money. He’s young and just getting started in life so $100 is a lot of money for him. It was a proud moment as a dad that he bought it for me.
