Judge made a statement considering Felicity did everything right and people predicted no jail time.

This means Aunt Becky is frickkkked. She's going to be Belle of the Ball in prison though.

not enough. I appreciate she handled herself better than Lori Loughlin but 2 weeks is ridiculous. 6 months would have been nice, if not a year.

I know this.

My point was that Felicity had a much smaller offense and came clean about it and did everything she could to avoid jail time.

The judge still gave her 2 weeks. Lori Loughlin is getting the hammer.

And just for the sake of the thread:

That's more than any politician or big bank CEOs did for creating the Housing Crisis in 2008. Slightly less than Martha Stewart though.

Their crimes piss me off. That said, except in rare cases, first time non- violent offenders don’t need jail imho . It would have been much better to let her fund a couple million in scholarships for low- income kids without contacts. The Felicity Huffman scholarship would actually help right the wrong.

Lori is very very guilty in my book.

Guilty of aiding & abetting some crimes against nature in my alternative universe.

She needs corporal (& other methods of) punishment.

What a joke. This isn't a prison worthy crime.

Nor is donating money to a college to get your kid into school. That should be completely acceptable and beyond reproach. Schools should just openly take less qualified candidates in exchange for huge donations that they can use towards scholarships for brilliant poor kids or improving facilities for the entire student body.

That seems fair for everyone.

Unfortunately she's rich, white, and this case is very public. They can't send a bunch of minorities to prison over weed and let Miss Hollywood get off with a sentence of making public service commercials.

Crazy. Gov’t is trying to give free college to everyone and we are locking up parents for paying extra.

Clown world.

Wasn't there also some tax fraud involved besides scamming the whole system?
