No telling how many assholes and Karen’s they deal with. We are extremely nice to our local UPS guy. He is a really nice black man and goes out of his way to do a good job. Delivery guys work their arse off typically.

Idk if it’s a southern identity thing or what, but I can’t understand why so many here simply refuse to call a spade a spade (pun intended) when it comes to a white southerner being racist. Identity politics have broken many brains.

This guy is a racist piece of trash. It’s not a big deal.

You sitting here pretending like a racist or bigoted or prejudiced thought has never crossed your pretty little head is the biggest load of bullshite I've heard today.

crazy4lsu assumes most conservatives on this board are rednecks and called me the king redneck the other day. Even liberal-leaning Wikipedia says the term redneck is a derogatory term.

So yes even Hollier than thou crazy4lsu is a bigoted PoS

The problem with you is you declare "I have never ever ever once had any thought that could be deemed racist and anyone who has ever had one is the worst racist ever!"

Can you ever faithfully reproduce someone's argument? I said you were dishonest and to no one's surprise, it turns out you are.

I think it's more important to understand the why behind why people act like they do.

You think that's what you've done in this thread?

quote:

It find it's much more productive to understand why someone has this outburst and address those root causes than just scream "racism! Destroy them" and act like it will do anything to help the issue

You've done nothing to address the underlying issues other than to invent some scenarios, which coincidentally don't address the underlying issues.

quote:

Hell, look at the black guy who has the collection of klan robes, willing given to him by former members, after they changed their ways.

Because he was willing to ask why and get to the root and show them the error of their ways.

Do you ever think about the words you type? You haven't done any of this in this thread. You are closer to the Klan members, given your other posts where you will thoughtlessly give some insane moral equivalence as some instinctive defensive measure, than you are some dude who is thoughtfully engaging with racism and its underlying structure. If that is how you see yourself, it is absolutely hilarious to juxtapose that with the actual content of your posts.

Again, you make incredibly boring, ahistorical arguments repeatedly and are now pretending you are doing some work that you haven't even done in this thread. You should definitely log off my man.

Haha to my recall, I've only ever called you a redneck, and no one else. It's a specific insult directed at you, you moron. God damn you are stupid.

Uhh me wikipedia! muh redneck! Muh bigot!

Brother, there isn't some hysteria you haven't swallowed full-throated. You are just a really dumb dude who posts too much.

King redneck has spoken again. One day he'll learn to string an argument together and we wait for that day with baited breath.

Nah, you are just doing bad-faith posturing because you dislike me. We both know what you are offended about is the fact I call you stupid, namely because you say incredibly stupid things. You could stop being king redneck if you stopped being stupid, but alas.

Don't you have some other scenario to invent for the racist guy? Maybe he was hungry? I can't wait for more of your top-notch psychoanalysis.

This seems like a very simplistic view. This may can happen for some people. But for most legitimate racists, they are going to be too set in their ways to all of a sudden change their mind because of a kind conversation.

There are very few people in life that what they say about me would have an impact. You are nowhere near being on that list.

Just another sign you think too highly of yourself as I have pointed out. Your arrogance truly knows no bounds. Makes me wonder what is lacking in your life that you have to overcompensate so much. I hope you figure it out and correct it before it gets kicked out of you by some dumb redneck.

So you think its a load of bullshite that a racist or bigoted or prejudiced doesn't cross everyone's mind?

Look, I like jokes about stereotypes, I think stereotypes are funny because of how ridiculous some of them are. Just because a sub category of people do certain things are you saying its normal for everyone to think "a person of that skin color did that, I hate everyone with the same skin color"?

A person's economic and education status has an impact on their behavior, not their skin color.

If I hate white trash does that make me racist?

Clearly you remembering an off-hand insult and trying to portray it as bigotry because you think everyone has 'racist thoughts' had some effect.

It's really easy to reinforce when people make incredibly bad arguments. You should be better.

I can assure you that no one is going to kick the shite out of me. You can posture all you want about what I say to you on this forum and pretend like you'd be the one to give me my just desserts, but nothing is going to happen to me. You can hope and pray though, my little bitch.

I'm not even really worried about this guy. I'm looking at the forest, not the tree. If people are racist (and everyone is a little bit in some ways), we need to ask why they are. It almost always boils down to behavior they don't like and not race, but we attach race to it due to some deep-seated tribal instinct.

This manifested as racism, but I'd bet that it's more the fact he is an angry a-hole and felt slighted. The racism is just window dressing for the underlying cause.

Anyways this is a whole different thread. And pointless anyways. FWIW QJenk, I think you are a reasonable person with valuable input and willing to have discussions. Unlike some.

It sounded like it was over his dog and the guy's driving. Guy is still wrong for the slurs.
