I equate most racist people to Col. Jessup from A Few Good Men. They hate having to keep that in and when the moment arises where they feel justified they let it rip.

Newsflash. Everyone has racist thoughts. Especially in times of stress. Just some people are better at keeping it in.

I dont use a leash either. How about slow the frick down in a residential area.

How do you know he was speeding? We can 100% see he wasn't using a leash. I looked up Douglasville leash laws, when off the property, like say in a street, a dog must be leashed. If you can't control your dog, leash it.

He didn’t post what happened prior to this. The FedEx driver tried to run over his dog & the driver said some racist slurs while giving hand gestures! Let me tell you, I’d be pissed too, and if he hurt my dog, well let’s just say it would be the last dog he’d ever hurt!

From the comments.

Yea this wouldn't be shocking. I think it would take a lot of provocation for most decent people to just start dropping the N-word especially while being filmed.

Not defending the guy, but I don't think someone just goes off on that tirade out the blue because they hate black people. He said something about the guy almost hitting his dog.

Is there any moral equivalence you don't jump to make?

Well, you can't be racist in America if you are black. At least that is what your side tells everyone.

Ehhh...one slip-up perhaps in a rage-filled yelling match could maybe be somewhat excused. The guy doubled down on it, though, and all while the other dude stayed calm. Just based on that one short clip the white dude is a PoS

Oh no doubt. Dude was a ticking time bomb. Unless he was on his property should have had his dog on a leash.

But somehow I doubt that the driver did absolutely nothing to set this guy off. Or hell maybe he was just a seething little firecracker waiting for his racism fuse to get lit

Sounds like he nearly hit his dog... So anger is acceptable b/c lets face it dogs are better than most people.. But he could have left the N word out of that tirade..

People in confrontations go to the sharpest tool available, and while it might reflect prejudice at some level, it probably isn't very indicative of how those people regularly interact or think about whatever classification they're talking about.
This is a fair point.

In short, I doubt this guy is a through and through bigot
I’m not sure the point applies to this guy. He didn’t just let the n word fly, he called the guy a monkey and asked if he wanted to see what a white guy would do (or something similar) and referenced BLM. You may be right, but this guy seems like a through and through bigot.

Is there more to the video than the 31 seconds because the only threats I hear are from the dog owner.

Plus, if the guy was playing with the dog in the street as indicated in a reply then it's on him for being a dumbass dog owner and not having control of his dog.

If you don't think a huge swath of the population goes "effing _______" under their breath when they get obnoxiously cut off by someone, I think you're being unrealistic

If you almost hit a dog, you are going too fast. It could be a kid playing instead of a dog. The leash only matters if the dog is harassing neighbors or shitting in their yard.

I purposely leave holes in my gravel driveway because of a-hole UPS and Amazon drivers.

They drive 40 mph down my drive way.

I look just like this guy, minus the racist words.

1) i doubt he was intentionally trying to run over a dog
2) what caused him to try and run over the dog? people don't do that without some provocation /s
