FBI Seeks Woman Infatuated With Columbine Shooting; Denver Schools Closed

An F.B.I. bulletin sent to local law enforcement identified the woman as Sol Pais, 18. She was “infatuated” with the Columbine attack, the bulletin said, and had been “attempting to buy firearms.” Officials also released an image of Ms. Pais, and said she was approximately 5-foot-5, with brown hair. She had recently traveled to Colorado, they said. Records show that Ms. Pais is from Surfside, Fla., in Miami-Dade County.

This whole news story is strange. There's conflicting reports on whether she actually bought a gun (which would have been legally), the threats are listed as "unspecified" on multiple stories, nobody has released what the actual threats said that I can find, and the BOLO for her lists they don't even have probable cause to arrest her

Typo? Says she's 18...she couldn't buy a handgun, and I'm unsure of what the rules for long guns are in all states.

A few stories say she bought a shotgun and ammo in Littleton, CO while a few others say she attempted to buy a shotgun. Maybe the latter just haven't been updated yet or something

She hasn't done anything illegal. But I guess her infatuation with Columbine, flying to Denver and purchasing guns raised a few concerns. All they can really do is talk to her.
