I'm pretty sure it's about those two dumb arse deputies and dea agents stealing shite and making up cases.

If it was anything crazy I'm sure the office in Amite would have been raided too, not just the substation.

They must have had the dirty on some other folks for the FBI to make such a grand entrance today. I heard they made everyone at the PD leave the building with the exception of 1 dispatcher to take calls.

Also expect the Governor's office to get raided at someone point as well.

The hell you talking about?

Even if there's 0.00001% chance that you actually knew this info, there's no way hell one would actually post this on a public forum.

For them to raid a substation and HPD I am sure there is a lot more to this than 2 deputies. Hopefully they drive Edwards out of office.

Dude, everyone knows that JBE is up to his eyeballs in Tangi politics and corruption. Google the name of the Tangi sheriff and then think about what's really going on.

What happens if the police tell the FBI to frick off and refuse to leave? That would be interesting.

They would be arrested for interfering in a federal investigation end of story.

While there is no official connection to previous investigations yet, two people with ties to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office have found themselves the target of federal authorities this year. Sheriff's deputies assigned to a federal narcotics task force were implicated in a drug and money swiping scheme. Two deputies are accused of stealing drugs and money confiscated during DEA investigations.

locals don't tell the FBI to frick off. FBI doesn't frick around.

Unless your a federal employee or elected official, then you can tell teh FBI to get bent.

I'm aware that it's his brother, but to make a connection to JBE being involved in a fed probe seems a bit of a stretch.

this - btw Daniel Edwards only received 65% of the vote in the Oct 2015 election - easily beating 4 opponents which included the great Arlen Wells from Ponchatoula - who usually runs for everything from dog catcher to crossing guard. I don't think Sheriff Edwards or his brother is worried about FBI raids. Very popular sheriff even in the Ponchy area.

Had two encounters with popo's in Hammond when I lived there. One may have been Sheriff, I don't recall for certain. Both experiences left me completely disappointed in their police force.
