I don't believe most people are "rooting" for this. But can you honestly not see how people aren't hoping it's NOT some group? I mean, race relations in the U.S. aren't that great at the moment. I don't want it to be a group that polarize blacks against whites. We live together every day. I want relations to improve.
But if it's a terrorist? We, as Americans, can at least join forces in fighting that enemy, if only in our minds.

We still don't know if that guy who left the office is linked to this. Granted, it is rather sketchy that someone would leave right before this happen.
It should be fairly easy to decide whether or not he was involved. But I don't expect them to release that info until tomorrow.
