The fact that law enforcement is being so coy with the suspects and info surrounding them seems to indicate that there is more at play here than just the 2 dead and one detained.. I don't need to know this info but this being America with our news cycle, I just find it pleasantly surprising that they are keeping their traps shut at the moment.

Reddit turned that situation into a giant clusterfrick. Everyone wanted to be an e-detective.

Same here. This just happened a few hours ago. How do we really know?
Plus, it won't be long before truthers come out saying the government staged all this to repeal the 2nd amendment.

The police lieutenant on OReilly just said he's holding the details of the detained suspect right now because he doesn't want to cause an international incident right now.

Did he really say that? What could be so bad that it would cause an international incident?

I've been out of pocket today, so I haven't been able to follow this. But, has Obama shown his arse yet and called for more gun control?

Yes, done almost simultaneously when the incident occurred. Seriously.

...kinda like the O-T?

Not even close to the OT. Reddit had at least three guys misidentified. If I remember currently, one them was reported dead and his family had to make a statement.

***I get what you are saying. Everyone wants to be the one to figure this entire situation out.

The FBI is getting more and more involved and they themselves said foreign terrorism is a possibility. There's your answer.

I am all for getting the facts correct and don't blame law enforcement for doing what is necessary to do just that. But I also expect them to call it what it is if indeed it is terrorism. The Ft. Hood tragedy is still referred to as WPV by liberals when it was an intentional act of terrorism. I have no patience for political correctness when innocent American lives are lost on US soil.

If one was a Syrian refugee, that would likely cause an international incident, but that is MASSIVE speculation.

If he is foreign then that could make sense to hold off information. Don't want to blame some Muslim country citizen and find out you had the wrong guy.

I haven't checked my facebook newsfeed today. Is it "give peace a chance, everyone posting a ribbon and problem solved if we take guns away."

Mizzoukills started a thread saying this exact same thing right after this happened. Said Sandy Hook never happened. Had a few whacky posters from here jump in and agree. It got whacked, and possibly (hopefully?) he was banned as well.
