Florida coast is great. Can't live anywhere that's cold half the year. Colorado may be best for a week vacation tho.

Agree with Oregon being amazing, and Portland is the worst big city to visit.

Upstate New York/Vermont is pretty nice too. Lake Champlain specifically.

More specifically regions within particular states. I love SW Colorado (Durango) and coastal South Carolina (Charleston).

I have been to all 50 plus a few territories, districts, protectorates (D.C., Puerto Rico, Northern Marianas Islands, Guam, Marshall Islands).
IMHO....
The most picturesque east of the Mississippi is West West Virginia.
West of the Mississippi it's either Oregon or Utah depending on your preference.
Hawaii is in a class all its own for scenery.
California used to be amazing - and some things about it still are.
Texas might be the best place to live if you aren't in a Dallas or Houston concrete jungle, the mess of Austin proper, or some generic suburbia.

Hugely biased because I stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Beach and didn’t see the crap filled hobo slums of the cities, but CA was awesome when I went.

Montana in the summer and Virginia in the Fall. Both are very beautiful states.

Live in Texas, but if I had to live anywhere else in the U.S. it would be Ft. Morgan/Gulf Shores/Orange Beach.

Why? Do you have a connection to the area!? I have been to alomst every state and Maryland is a bottom ten one for me.
Every place not named the DC metro area or Baltimore is absolutely beautiful. Pretty much my 2 cents.

Florida for the water and beaches. The people are endlessly entertaining on the internet.

California, Oregon, Utah, Colorado are the obvious, easy ones
Most underrated: West Virginia
Not somewhere you want to live obviously, but absolutely beautiful and lots to do if you are into outdoors activities.
