Yes, a thousand times, yes. It was the BEST food in New Orleans . The top chefs in the city would go and eat there on their day off. Mr. Anthony(Uglesich) was a genius with food.

I grew up with Don's son Donald Ray Pedigo. Great family. Donald Ray does have a place in Walker and the steaks are still really good! It is still called Pedigo's.

I think it was called Sicily's Pizza, it was in the shopping center on the corner of Florida Blvd/Monterrey

Where was that? We would stop there going home from picking up my brother at NO airport, I remember the windows

Mr. Gaddy's in Thibodaux. It's a bar now so it's not a lose-lose.

Also, the sizzler in Thibodaux, though I was grown when it burned.

As a kid I used to love going to the lunch counters at Krauss's Dept store on Canal st. Best hamburgers and chocolate malts ever!

Sclafani's - New Orleans or Metairie

In Lake Chuck. El Rio. Old style Mexican food in the 1950's through about 1975.

The owner was Joe Urdiales, who's descendants now own El Rio Grande on Airline Hwy and Mestizo on Acadian Thruway.
