I remember being in either first or second grade and going strawberry picking. We came home with multiple gallon jugs of fresh strawberries and it was amazing.

For our parents, it probably sucked.

We went to the D-Day museum in at least 5 different grades. I think we went to some kind of safari/zoo somewhere around here once where you rode in a bus and fed animals out of a cup.

Other than those I can't really remember any other field trips we went on.

1992 - A week before prom, our teachers decided they would put the fear of death from drunk driving in us.
These f*ckers brought us on a tour of funeral home in downtown BR.
They gave us a tour of the embalming room and went over the whole process with the tilted blood draining table, embalming fluid, etc.

We went to the state capital in 8th grade.. Went to the observation deck, coming down, we pushed every button on the elevator, by the time we got to the bottom, everyone was ready to puke..

wonder how they correlated that with drunk driving?

Got to go to Fulton County Stadium, go on the field, run the bases, and meet Chief Knock a Homa. That should tell you how long ago it was. Don't remember meeting any players.

Made my own favorite Field trip to NOMA in late ‘77 to cutting school to see King Tut with a chick I was trying to…

It was cold and she & I were in line. WDSU was doing a remote from there and they interviewed us, one of my teachers was on break and saw it.
The next day the teacher told me she’d seen me on TV and wasn’t going to tell on me because she thought it was an admirable thing I was doing.

Fingerbanging became “admirable” that day.
