Dr. Clarke: Greek mythology
Dr. Schierling: Latin
Everything liberal arts classes should offer- think outside the box, without going off the rails. In the end they brought you to a deep appreciation of what we in western civilization have been handed from the past.

Bonus was both professors were witty, engaging, a bit ribald and yet there was something subtly spiritual when they discussed their subject.

Senior level management class over at the old USL. Taught by Dr. Bernard Bienvenu. He was an entertaining professor and as it turns out, was a rock star in a number of different communities !!!!!!!!!

Food Science. Learning the science behind cooking methods and how ingredients react to cooking was fascinating.

I took a geography class my last semester at LSU. I cannot remember the professor’s name BUT we looked at slides of his trips to Central America. This was in 1990. Dude had a gorgeous wife and he referred to her as his “mistress.” He was so damn funny and it was an elective for an easy A. The guy was great.

My dumbass majored in graphic design so it was essentially a fine arts degree. All the painting and drawing was cool. Had a class with live nude models that was kind of awkward (chick wasn't that hot and the dude had gigantic balls). My friend and I would just get high before every class and laugh out asses off.

My favorite class by far was a sculpture class where we made wax sculptures that were cast into bronze. We got to melt metal and pour the molten. Bronze into the molds. It was awesome

Best Professor at LSU. And turned out to be the most practical as I was in that shite a year later.

I imagine understanding the complicated history as well as the mindset of those people is a big plus when deployed to that region.

Is there even a large group of posters currently at LSU anymore because it seems that it’s vastly alumni here.

Although I did really enjoy geology - if I would’ve taken it earlier in my college career I might’ve majored in it

And 20th Century Austrian History with Dr Bischoff at UNO was a great class
