I remember when that car came out. I test drove one after totaling my 1987 Toyota 4x4 on a ski trip.

Came close to pulling the trigger, but I was shipping to the Air Force in a matter of weeks and decided not to.

My mom had an '85 Monte Carlo SS when I was a kid. It was probably early 90s or mid 90s. Anyway, I thought that car was ugly as sin and was embarrassed to be seen in it. Looking back, I was a little shite and didn't know shite. I'd give a lot of money to buy that car today. I'd just go with black instead of the burgundy/brown color of the one she had.

It was just like this one:

When I turned 16 in 1988 my dad bought me a Trans Am GTA. I still have it and recently started working on restoring it. Still runs great but definitely needs a paint job. Had steering wheel radio controls and digital dash which all still work.

I drove an 84 Marty McFly mobile in high school, but mine was red.
Great truck, but one of the most underpowered trucks you could ever drive.

Slammed Mazda b2200as my dream.

Dated a girl with a 3 series that she completely ragged out.

Buddy had a fiero. It fit two dudes or two dudes and 2-3 chicks depending on how many I could fit on my lap.

Had another buddy with Chevy 1500 extra cab with a very custom paint job. If that weren’t enough he had a boat that matched the truck.

But, alas, I drove my moms Minivan if I were lucky… and f’ing loved it.
