Oh yes! And don't forget about the nightly homework that took me hours to do every night! I ended up just giving my login to my cousin who's fluent in Spanish and she'd do it for me at her desk at work during the day

I took Grimes class too, it definitely wasn't him. This guy played electric bass (actually maybe it was jazz guitar). He was kind of chubby white dude, wore glasses and had wavy hair
You thinking about Brian Andrews?
Had him for a finance class and thought he was great. And his band plays at Sullivans too.

How can you hate either one of them? Mugnier embarrass you and make you take your hat off?
Mugnier was a pompous, arrogant arse who didn't teach much of anything. His class was a joke.

I learned a good bit in 3500. When mugnier wasn't telling some story or old man joke it was pretty good information

This for larger, non-major classes for me. I had a lot of phenomenal professors at LSU though in smaller mass comm and marketing courses though. (Folse, Broussard, Song off the top of my head.)
I loved Outland for history and Rowe for Geography as well.

Favorite - Dr. Al-Rub taught Strength of materials. After every test he would appoint a "sultan of the class"
Worst was Harris Wong- taught thermo. That dude has no soul. Consistently loved to fail majority of class, no curve.

That Wong a-hole gave a midterm the Wednesday after Mardi Gras. Total prick.

were you in the section that he promised to drop a test grade, changed his mind during dead week, then proceeded to give an absolutely outrageous final (presumably due to the outcry) ?
Good times.
Oh yes. He said two people bitched

Glad to see a few Stan Hilton mentions in here. He would always go off on these interesting tangents in the middle of a lecture. Come test week he'd say "we're running behind. We have to get back on track"
I saw he retired recently. Happy trails.

I loved Grocholski.

Favorites have to be Aaron Grocholski (Astronomy), Ari Fisher (technically an instructor), and Charles Shindo.
Least favorite are Chenier (she might legitimately need a mental health evaluation), Matt Wiser (nice guy but couldn't teach you his name without fricking it up)

I forgot about Filbel. I thought he was a dipshit who didn't realize that neither he, nor his class was important to anyone.

What? That dude sucked
I honestly couldn't think of a least favorite professor but it's probably him
Best was definitely Sauley and Karam

avorite: Guy who taught Sports Law. One of the most insightful classes I had at LSU and was about topics I enjoyed(NFL and college athletics).
Are you talking about John Lombardi's course? He would have speakers like Joe Alleva come to class.

Rick Moreland, English. He taught the modern criticism class, knew it was difficult material that nobody really wanted to do, and basically just let us have relaxed class discussion. He was much more concerned with actual learning than a letter grade.
Really cool dude and he "puts on" a really nice class.

Harris Wong's Thermo class couldn't have been harder than Keith Gonthier's Thermo class. I have heard some nightmare stories about people who have taken Keith's class. That dude doesn't curve either from what I know.

Favorite: Ron Seibling microbiology. Brilliant mind + alcoholic = lots of great moments. RIP
Least favorite: Monelzun EXST I'm sure he is retired now but the intro graduate stats he taught was a chaotic shite show and he tries skirting out on an exam listed in the syllabus which resulted in numerous grade appeals.
