Considering most states the numbers of new patients, deaths, and new hospitalizations are decreasing yeah, it’s pretty damn close to over.

I'm all about a Phase I opening but you do understand that it will absolutely increases cases and deaths, right?

The U.S. has about 50,000 deaths in two months. Predicting 100,000 deaths in the U.S. by the end of the year isn't exactly some crazy suggestion.

That isn't remotely my opinion at all and certainly not implied by my question.

Pretty sure I posted in this thread originally but I'm scared to even read through to find out what dumb thing I may have said.

55,000 tops, when everything is said and done.
Are you making fun of this person? He seems not too far off. Closer than Fauci's prediction

67,000 deaths is what the IHME model is now predicting (it was predicting 170k when this thread was made)

Millions of cases is correct.

The fatality rate was way off

Was this just for this outbreak or for the total event?

If the latter, 100k may be fairly close.

Let me help you

The new model suggests 67k deaths

The poster predicted 55k

So he underestimated by 22% according to the new model

Fauci predicted 100-200k, so lets cut the middle at 150k

He overestimated by 55% according to the new model

So the poster you made fun of had was closer than Fauci, the person you are inherently defending
