And? Wasn’t that based on no social distancing?

Not true. They're saying once you get it you can easily get it again. It's not like the flu.

Uh, link to Fauci claiming 2 million deaths?

Or are you cherrypicking and relying on Ferguson like everyone else is?

This is most likely false - virus is slow to mutate, while it’s not confirmed it is overwhelmingly likely that you will be immune for some time once you’ve passed an infection. A few cases of “reinfection” seen in Asia might have been from false negatives and false positives to begin with.

How long you would have this immunity is up in the air. This is the same with any one strain of the flu. If it wasn’t, once the flu enters your household it would never leave (your family would just keep passing it in circles).

So at the current death rate, this will be over in 400 months? Only 33 years to go. Worst...Virus....Ever....

And he also says those numbers are a moving target. Has anyone posted the video to his actual words?

As someone who works in academic biomedical research, Fauci is a moron. It has nothing to do with who he supports, but from a scientific standpoint he buys into anything.

He’s only in his position because of lack of accountability.

In the end, these models are very poorly constructed. They could be right but they are 95% or more likely to be complete junk.

He even admits that in the actual video. He said they are based on assumptions and there is no way to know if those assumptions are correct.

3 months to get to 2000 deaths and you can’t see how we’ll have less than 100,000? Based on what? Feels?
