Folks are still clamoring to "it's just the flu". Wow.

And then other side is saying it will be 10x worse than the flu. A sickness that kills 10's of thousands, but that half of Americans don't even get a vaccine for.

I’m surprised he predicted that little. We will likely be at 300k cases by the end of this week.

The models keep getting revised down. First it was 2.5 million and now it's 100,000-200,000. My bet is the eventual death toll from this pandemic will be roughly 50,000 in the United States.

I give it another week or two before people start clamoring to return to regular life. This shutdown can't last indefinitely and the country fathers know this. shite will start to open back up within the fortnight.

If true, we should take this as an act of war from China with biochemical weapons. That number will probably be 10-20x all other countries in the world. China should be held accountable for every death and every one of their governmental officials should be arrested.

Some of my local watering holes up here in Chicago have already boarded up their windows and opened the back doors for customers. This can’t and won’t last my h longer.

Actual deaths? Or the type of deaths that the media keeps claiming are from corona that turn out to be from something else?

Those numbers are encouraging. I was thinking 1,000,000 biting the dust at a minimum

How does this fit in with the New England Journal of Medicine article he put out 2 days ok saying this was most likely about double the flu but still very low? Is this statement contradicting or supporting that?

It seems everyone is cherry picking to fit their own agenda whether that be we are all doomed or that this is overblown.

There is no way to accurately measure growth.

For starters, that isn't at all what that article said.

Remember when he said millions dead? He was an expert then, too.
