Um, because this drug has actually been tested in controlled trials..as opposed to hydroxychloroquine, which Trump was spouting off about with no actual clinical data.
I'll be first get on board with whole body radiation once that's been through clinical trials and is proven effective. But here's the thing, that will never go to trials because it's about the dumbest thing anyone has ever heard of (same with ingesting disinfectants).

We're further along because there is actual clinical proof that it's effective. That's kinda the difference that matters.
Question, is the only reason you guys want so badly for hydroxycholorquine to be the miracle cure because dear leader said it was great? Because if so that's fricked up. I want whatever works.
I noticed you haven't been stumping for disinfectants. He also mentioned that. And delivering whole body radiation. What gives? Tow the line!!!

Gilead is a huge company, remedisvir probably won't move the needle on their books. However they see the optics, thus that is why they are giving away so much.

Im certainly hopeful that this drug is the real deal in treating this thing.
At the same time, Fauci was the main one telling people Hydrochloroquine was completely unproven abd doesnt need to be widely used as a treatment. Yet here he is pimping this thing as being legit.
Just seems off to me.

On the flopped test, experts say having symptoms for 12 days before getting remdesvir isn't optimal and getting it as soon as you are diagnosed increases the chances of it being successuful. Wait, isn't that the same case for HCQ? The VA study only gave HCQ to patients who were already intubated, and at that point, the mortality rate is high.
