Not reading the link, but, as a teacher, I can assure you one thing. No matter what happens, it’s the school’s fault.

There’s a delicate balance. You have to be forceful and dominant enough to bend them to your will, but not make such a scene that you go over the line and turn others against you and hurt your case.
You can’t go and scream like a hood rat or some trailer park meth mouthed trash and expect to get your way.
But if you go in there like an adult and don’t back down and come with facts and poise you can get your way more often than not

When I said “not reading the link”, that was to imply that I wasn’t talking about this specific situation. My statement was purely a generalization. Schools and school personnel are wrong a lot of the time, but not as much as the parents try to make it seem.

I think the daddy handled it the way it needed to be handled because if no one would have made it an issue, it would be same typical school administration bullshite.
It seems like after it happened once, they would try to make sure they don't make the same mistake twice. He should have gone up there after the second time, but after the third time I don't blame him..
And to the people saying they should just go pick up and drop off their kid. Not everyone has that luxury.
My nephew for example. He gets dropped off in the morning, but has to ride the bus home in the evening because they live in a rural area where there is no one else he can catch a ride with and parents are working. It's not that simple for everyone.
It seems like after it happened once, they would try to make sure they don't make the same mistake twice. He should have gone up there after the second time, but after the third time I don't blame him..

I think thats part of the problem. You automatically took the defense.
I can see why you would be salty though. Parents will naturally protect themselves and their children. Always easier to blame others.
Also, only takes a couple bad parents or bad teachers to destroy the image of the whole group

WTF is the point of this post?
The guy was justifiably angry. He didn’t pull the race card or even use profanities. Anyone else would be pissed too if this was their kid.
