Father figure

This is why it is important to have a good father figure in your life... I know myself as a young man in his lower 30's, If I ever participated in any of this rioting nonsense... I would have a work boot up my arse because I was raised not to act like that. I think most here agree with me! The problem lies where it lies...

The problem lies in a culture where family is less important than government benefits but we know it is everyone else's fault. Am I right?

Need to move out your parents house if you can't do things without them knowing in your mid-30s.

This is a knee jerk reaction. What about the people participating with fathers? What about the spoiled virtue signaling white people with solid families?
Do not make excuses for these people (white, yellow, purple, orange, or black.) welcome to 2020....this is how the world is outside of our conservative bubble.

That's a bit anecdotal though. Kids raised in single parent homes are far more likely to go to prison, drop out of HS etc. The statistics are actually overwhelming.

That's true, but something like 80% of African Americans are born to single mothers. More than half of African Americans don't have their father in their lives.

You maybe right but statistics prove that children from a fatherless home have a better chance of being incarcerated or killed from violence.

Sometimes love can be mistaken for a crime.

Fix the single household crises in the black community and I’d bet most of the other problems find a way to fix themselves
It’s a crises and getting worse in white households too

I'd have to try to find the study that I read once but it was pretty eye opening. I don't remember how they counted divorced/deceased parents though.
Hell, I pretty much grew up with just my dad from the age of 10+. It certainly puts most kids at a major disadvantage not having 2 parents at home.

Yep when you pass the age of 10 years and mom tried to spank that arse and then you just laughed it was game on. Dad got home from work you would hear mom telling dad then it was on like Donkey Kong. Dad would take that belt off, call my name, and wear my little arse out. Point well taken after that.
