hat means your mom lives within 25 miles of ALL of Baton Rouge homicides.....why is this one different?

No, it does not. That’s on the outskirts of unincorporated BR. So if she lived 24 miles in the other direction, it would be very rare that she was within 25 miles of a BR murder.

I laughed when i read where they included the value of the homes.

What in the frick does the cost of the houses have to do with anything?

It usually gives you an idea of how urban the neighborhood is.

It started to become more urban when we left. I expect the home values to drop if it continues in this direction with more crime.

If St George becomes a thing the values will likely increase. If not who knows.

I understand. This is scary for your mom even though she could be living in Ethel, Denhan, New Roads, Gonzales, St. Francisville, etc... all are within 25 miles of this homicide. I hope she is okay.

EBR doesn’t provide Deputies with body worn cameras. And there never is any outrage over it.

But let a BRPD officer not have his on during a call and the public screams for the officers head.

Isn’t my mom, I didn’t make the original statement. I was just pointing out the errors of your statement, which is still wrong.

As someone who lives in the area I have a hard time with this being characterized as an “upscale” area.

Not that it matters related to the crime anyway, but right across the street there are hundreds of section 8 apartments. If we’re trying to relate crime to income at least tell the whole story...

it isn't hard. go to the address and then go 25 miles in all directions....it covers all those cities and all of Baton Rouge.

Something like: white deputy, dead guy is black.
Tried to run deputy over, shot through windshield, witnesses corroborated story that guy was trying to run deputy over. LSP has taken over.
