I'd be interested to see the monthly revenue numbers before and during the lockdowns.

I walked in to the Gonzales Canes a couple of months ago. You couldn’t sit inside but you could get it to go. Beat the hell out of waiting in a line wrapped around the building.
At least Canes is pretty efficient. If there are more than 4 or 5 cars in line at any McDonald’s, forget it. There is a huge difference in the types of training and customer service between Canes/Chick-fil-A app and McDonald’s.
Oh, and the CFA app is the way to go for beating their lines. Their app is incredibly efficient.

Madison (MS) Canes has pretty big lines, but nothing like the Chick fil A...but I have to say, CFA moves people through quickly, at peak traffic there are 4 people taking orders and 3 people at the window getting orders to cars...

Charlie, maybe. Not the kids, they don't give a shite.

canes and chick fil a have had lines wrapped around the parking lots since the pandemic started. I figured they wouldn't be in too much of a hurry to open up dining rooms.
However I noticed a hiring tent at the Chick Fil A on airline by highland so, i guess they are ramping up for reopening.

I hope they open the dining areas, maybe the litter will go down.

shite is annoying as frick, fast food places need to open back up. last summer we were going to the beach and grabbed Zaxby's in Gulfport and ended up having to eat in the grass under a tree outside because they didn't have the dining room open.

Nope. A liter is still 1.06 quarts.

I don't know much about fast food finances but keeping the dining room closed to save money on cleaning and small items like napkins & drink refills can't be worth the offset in sales right?

Yeah I'm sure you're right, that's why two of the highest grossing fast food chains in CFA and Canes are doing it. They have less foresight than you, for sure

I walked in t Canes yesterday ordered and walked out in 5 minutes. Car were wrapped around the building. Lazy fat fuks ain’t getting out of cars.
I use the time to give my mom a call. We talk a couple of times a week when I go pick up lunch. The days I go to canes gives us a chance to talk for longer.

Typical Mingo response, super douche with zero elaboration.
what are they doing? staying closed or opening? For such a healthy eater you sure have a finger to pulse of fast food restaurants.

Mr. Charlie sold out to someone outside the family. His son John still operates several locations.

They're dining rooms are closed, like mentioned about a dozen times in this thread.

Knowing whether they have opened their dining rooms took some really thorough investigative work, but I'm willing to do it.

they are raking in the cash with drive thru only as it is
Posted on 4/5/21 at 11:15 am to LuckySo-n-So
BK near my house is open to inside diners but one close to my work is not...
I go to the one near my house. Screw the other one until they open up

He always donates to both, but it is usually more to Republicans at least the little bit I've looked it over.

I wouldn't be surprised to see future fast food locations open up as a Canes Express, McDonald's Express, Wendy's Express, etc. Drive thru only with no dining room. Less operating costs, and less overhead to open a new location.
