now that we are back to "full capacity"?

It's been a year, and all fast food restaurants seem to be doing just fine with drive thru service. Why spend the extra money on cleaning and an extra employee ( ) to handle the inside?

They'll probably eventually have to or they'll see sales decline, but I'd hold on as long as possible. Sheds a lot of overhead doing drive through only

Eventually demand for dining in will come up to normal levels. The places that offer that will get some preferential business.

I haven't been to Canes once since this started because their drive thru line is ridiculous.

"That place is too crowded, no one goes there anymore."

Anyways, I would happily go inside if given that option rather than wait in line for 20 minutes. They certainly aren't hurting for my business, but at the same time they are losing my business.

You can do roughly 30% more business with dine in and take out. That’s why you’d want to open dining rooms. Takes pressure off the drive thru lanes that people do not want to sit in.

I thought valuzzo was pretty much done and sold most or all of his properties at god knows how many years in the business.

Fairly certain Valuzzo sold his business to another family member. I’m 100% sure he sold. But want to say it was to a brother or cousin or uncle. Something like that.

That sounds right. There was an article not too too long ago about this, maybe the BBB. Pretty amazing what he was able to do and how early he got in on that gravy train.

I think it’s sad that McDonald’s dining rooms are still closed. In poor, rural America McDonald’s are de facto community centers where you can go get a biscuit and a coffee for nothing and free wifi/chat with your neighbors.

I have not traded with Graves since his sizable donation to the Biden campaign last fall. The Canes story of saving money to start a business venture by way of working a crab season in Alaska sure lost its luster with this moronic decision.

Did he donate only to Biden? Tons of businesses or wealthy people donate to pretty much all candidates in an election.

I don't know if he did or not in this case

He donated same amount to both sides. He gave money to our mayor for her campaign and also 2 other republicans.

The reason the story came out that he gave money to Biden was because he was one of the biggest donations to Democrat party in Louisiana. He was not one of the biggest for republicans.

You are correct. He gave money to all parties. It’s a tax write off. The money is either going to the government or it’s going to a politician.
