Chipotle already does this. This one location in NYC is online mobile app ordering only. Can’t order at the counter. It will most likely be the future of quick service. Cane’s has an app for doing take out or curbside.

And as long as new express locations opened with more efficiency, I’d be fine with them not having open dining rooms. I don’t really like to eat inside at a fast food place. But either be faster in the drive thru or open the inside so I can at least walk on, get my food and go.
