Very doubtful it was a Jewish person. Very much more likely it was an atheist who Ms atheism has become almost fanatical.

There's an obvious solution.

See the three windows behind the sign.

Those windows need shades. And on the shades, inside the house, put any darned letters you choose to remind the world of whatever. In other words, take the Scarlet Letter to a whole new level

To the people who don’t wish to live in an HOA: really these only apply to middle to upper middle class income families. They are a way to protect your home values on the off chance some redneck Billy Bob lucks into a house in your neighborhood and leaves his truck parked in his grass on front yard; trash cans turned over in front of the house, etc. HOA have rules for a reason.

If you don’t like living in a neighborhood that keeps the value of your house from decreasing, stay away. The rest of us would like to sell our house for more than we paid for it.

A Pennsylvania family was ordered by their homeowner’s association to take down their Jesus Christmas display after one of the neighbors reported it as offensive.
No, the family was asked to take the sign down by the HOA, because it was deemed to be a "sign" and not a Christmas decoration.

However, anybody complaining a Jesus sign is offensive is definitely a POS

Why is this on O-T Lounge? Should clearly be on the Politics board as you are clearly making a political statement.

My property values wouldn't change regardless of what you put in your yard.

HOA's are more about petty people doing petty things than they are about actual property values.

There are actually neighborhoods where HOAs are not needed.

I don't believe in religion but, this is absolutely ridiculous. The HOA should be gutted for this.

Why do we keep pandering to the minority. One complaint causes a shite storm these days.

We’ve lived in a sub-division with a HOA since 2006 and have had zero issues. In fact all they do as far as I can tell is coordinate our yearly neighborhood summer party and maintain the common areas like the clubhouse and entrance gate.

I would put “Jesus” as big as I possibly could
In Christmas lights in my yard. eVERY square inch of my yard, House, and roof would have the word “Jesus” in lights
