Fairly certain if someone put up a sign that said “SATAN”, there would be complaints as well.
And not near the amount of bitching from this board. There would be more posts saying “rules are rules”.

The nicest, most expensive homes around here are not in HOA neighborhoods. The price point tends to assure that most of the owners are those that will take care of their property. Houses for sale in the area are scarce and always in demand, so the few that don't take care of their property have little effect on property value.

They should write Jesus real big on the side of the house or on the roof with lights. There’s no way the HOA could say that is a sign/not decorations.
