Not shocking given the history of Israeli Jews treatment of Christians. Unless you're a boomer brainwashed by AiPAC.

Yeah because Christians never did anything to jews or never supported the romans committing genocide against the jews…

A lot of left wing and liberal christians have been brainwashed to support an enemy of both the US and Israel.

I am not a boomer and don’t know what AiPAC is without looking it up, but I still support helping Israel defend itself against those who wish to annihilate it in the name of religion especially when same enemy hates us as well.

I don’t believe Christians are partners with the Jewish faith to spread god’s word, but it does have more in common and more of a shared history with it than with islam. Acknowledging that Jesus was one of the prophets in islam without acknowledging he is the son of god doesn’t create the kinship some try to push between muslims and Christians. It is admitting his history and a connection to God while purposely denying or ignoring the most important parts and elevating another above him. Be hot or cold. If you are lukewarm you will be spit out of god’s mouth. Islam’s view of Jesus is lukewarm.

As for the cemetery I think it’s a stupid policy to hold for someone who died fighting for Israel and should at least have section that isn’t considered Jewish, but if I expected to agree with everything about the Jewish faith and it’s people I would probably have converted to Judaism a long time ago.

WTF. Their feelings are hurt by a cross?

Judaism is not the same as Christianity and the biggest win the state of Israel achieved is somehow convincing a bunch of right wing religious Christians in America that somehow saving the Israelites was gods plan

I wonder how much of the right’s love of Israel is simply a reaction to the left’s love of Islam.

Israel is a Jewish ethnostate. By nature Christians will be second class.

Based off of what?

In 2022, the population of Israel was 73.5% Jewish, 21.1% Arab, and 5.4% other.

I mean is this any different than say, Sweden, Norway, Finland, etc. Are they ethnostates?

You are ignorant of scripture if you don’t understand the protection of Israel is alive today as it ever has been, and yes, Judaism and Christianity are the same in we worship the exact same God. The difference being that Judaism does not accept Christ as the Messiah, and have added a lot of tradition to scripture and missed the promise given them through Christ. That being said and properly understood, Christians are nothing more than adopted Jews, in that they are adopted into the promise of God through Christ who is foretold of and present throughout Old Testament Scripture.

In the same way this country has been blessed by having Christ as our cornerstone and bedrock of our foundation from the beginning of this country, we have also been blessed by blessing Israel. Genesis 12:3 is still very much in full effect because God’s promises are eternal, and what He says you can hang your hat upon. If you don’t believe that, then the problem you have is with unbelief, and that’s whatever it is, but it does not discount the very real connection between a Christian and Israel, and those who descended from Abraham, of which Christians are also spiritually adopted into that promise through Christ. You may not be able to trust in man’s word, but God’s word does not change with the seasons as man’s does.

I don’t know if Christians are second class in Israel but is there really an argument that Israel was not formed with the intention of giving the Jews a homeland?

They spend a lot of money every year on it.

We're also Israels number one espionage target, for the same reason.

Maybe at one time, now it’s just common sense when deciding between Israel and Islamic Extremist that are just as barbaric as they were a couple thousand years ago. Between the two, the choice shouldn’t be that hard.

So Israel has laws that discriminate against christians? Are you maybe reading into that what you believe? Possible your interpretation is wrong of the Jewish Nation state law?
