Crime has been nuts only in Brandon and that is because the former police chief ran off all the cops. At one point, Brandon only had 16 police officers, including the chief and deputy chief. Great way to cause crime.

Jackson was well on its way to becoming a shithole third-world place when we left in 1990.
Those that have not moved north to Madison/Ridgeland or south to Bellhaven/Brandon are just lying to themselves at this point.
I love North MS, lived there for 7 years. I love coastal MS, but Jackson is the a-hole of MS.
