Off topic, but how does this work if you move there from another state. For instance, if I moved to New Jersey, would I have to give up my guns or go through some type of approval process in order to keep them?

Simple. Build a fence around the property and keep my fingers crossed that "The Watcher" gets to meet my family's "watchers". Oh yeah, install security cameras so I can enjoy the show.

I'd investigate the frick out of whoever bought the house from them

So the new owners want a full refund, interest AND the house??
Sounds odd, if I was a crazy fricker, a couple of years of disturbing letters mailed to the current owners of "my" dream house, buying it when they flee, suing over non-disclosure of a material issue, getting a refund of the purchase price, and ownership of the house seems to me a perfectly acceptable business transaction.

Good grief, if the local yokels can't find a guy sending letters through the stupid mail they must suck more than usual.
Call in some real law enforcement.

Coming from Louisiana, Id hang my confederate flag and tell that yankee to bring it.

Or to hell with planting a weapon on him. Just plant a confederate battle flag on him and right now you can do whatever you want.

I would bet money the new owners are doing all this for a ploy to get their money back.

Well, this family sure thought of a crazy way to get a million dollar home and get paid a nice chunk of cash to top it off.

From google earth it sure doesn't look like no 1.3m home, even on street view.

Try New Orleans right now. There is a ton of money in New Jersey and high demand places fetch big bucks.

Is it the asking of $2,350,000 one in Nola or the 2.4 in Metairie?
For both, they are asking way above value.
