Spaces should be for physically handicapped.
Because you have hearing loss and are “qualified” as disabled, your legs, arms & lungs more than likely work fine.
Leave the spaces for those with mobility issues.

They then get out and carry a ton of stuff to the beach so obviously not physically handicapped
Well, maybe,.. probably, but you would think the same of me and mine. I put a tag on my mirror and proceed to carry everything I can plus whatever they can hang on me.

I have Morton's Neuroma in my feet and nerve damage in one leg. Both hurt when I walk. I've learned to bear both and show no pain for short distances. Be careful when you judging.

I hate fakers as bad as anyone but you never know what a person is going through.

My roommate at LSU had a handicap tag because he was a diabetic.

He parked right next to class and I had to walk my arse across Nicholson every day.

I didn’t like it because I didn’t have one.

Proper terminology is "disabled" not "handicapped."

People with hearing, vision, emotional issues, obesity, etc, should not park in these spots.

For obese people with no other issues there should be special parking spaces for them as far away as possible from the front doors.

What if I posted it on a message board every time something happened?

I did stub my toe on the coffee table earlier.

It could not be fake i have an able bodied acquaintance that 100 medically disabled from the military and uses his parking pass and any othe perks like boarding a plane early ect.
He dosen't give a shite.
His rational is he has killed enough for this country he gets to have preferred parking

Am 75 yrs old with heart failure and copd. I don't 'look' disabled/handicapped what so ever. Just because someone isn't on crutches or a walker doesn't mean they aren't impaired/handicapped in someway. Not overweight and what grey hair I do have is mostly in my beard. I very, very seldom park in the handicapped areas because there are folks that need it much more than I. I do pretty good on flat/level ground, but even the slightest uphill grade really kicks my butt. Bout half the time at the grocery store/wally's I have to stop and rest/catch my breath. The 2 places that give me the most trouble are doctor visits. Pulmonary appt at Baptist Colonaddes and cardiac appt. at Jackson Heart/St Dominic's as lots are dang near full and can't park close and slightly up hill from lot to building. Bout half the time I have to stop and lean on a car to catch my breath before making it to the building and every time have to sit in lobby to rest before catching the elevator up to Dr's office. Breathing is severely underrated!

I keep my handicapped placard on my dash as hanging from the mirror blocks my view too much. There are a lot of kids in the neighborhood on bikes, scooters, skate, etc that never pay any attention to their surroundings.
An elementary age girl was run over by a school bus this year in my subdivision this year.

It is not the 'golden' years by any means...it is the 'RUST' years so don't be too judgmental.

But, these goons who have no obvious disability use grammaw’s handicapped tag in the Challenger just to walk short distances, do get under my skin!

I had a "friend" of mine do this in front of me. When he walked into the restaurant, I called him out about it. He didn't think it was a big deal. I told him it is. I lost a lot of respect for him that day

DRs must be giving these out like candy it seems now. It's like everyone has them. Prob lots of fake ones as well. What could be worst than someone who has a family member that's handicapped and they abuse it to park when the handicapped person is not with them. Of all people, they should know not to do that bc how bad they need it with their handicapped fam member.

And yet my 83 year old, barely mobile, dad refuses to get a tag because “it’s meant for people who really need it “

What you should be really pissed off about is those same people are probably getting disability payments from Social Security.

And the Army.

But why would they have the tag in their console and not already up?

At least the ones here in Texas have printed on the back instructions telling you not to hang the tag while driving. It blocks your view. Most people do it anyway.

You park in the handicapped spots at the gym don't you ? You carry the gallon jug or the half gallon Stanley, does the color match your Otomix boots ?

Maybe they already dropped off the handicapped individual. Perhaps they had to use another location due to the disability.

I began the COPD Herbal Treatment from NaturePath Herbal Clinic, and the results have been nothing short of incredible for my lung condition. After using the treatment for nearly four months, I experienced a significant reversal of my COPD symptoms.
My severe shortness of breath, dry cough, and chest tightness gradually disappeared. I can now breathe much more easily, and daily life feels so much more comfortable.
I highly recommend reaching out to NaturePath Herbal Clinic through their website: www.naturepathherbalclinic.com. Their natural approach made a real difference for me.
