Technically speaking, aren't you allowed to drink, just can't be over the limit? Police confirmed this to me once when we were stopped while wakeboarding...can't remember if it was LA or MS.

There's 5 comments. 4 are about the boat being over capacity and the guy with a beer behind the wheel. Wouldn't really call it backlash. I'm sure there were other boats around that all those people rode on.
