What other companies are upsetting you today? Maybe you can go ahead and tell us about it here instead of starting another shitty thread.

The internet and every app on your phone is spying on you. Not sure why this is shocking now

I deleted my account a long time ago. Too much drama for me.

I don’t think the average person likes been spied on. Plus these companies are using the data to sell to advertisers.

Did you at least make a long, dramatic post about how you're deleting your Facebook before you did it?

I mean kind of, but when it starts tracking your calls, messages, texts, photos, videos, audio, locations, browsing history, and timestamps for all of the above, one could be forgiven for thinking perhaps they do more than just capture your likes and posts, not to mention then selling all of that info to the highest bidder.

Sure it is, but you just made it consentual. The real problem is 98% of people dont have any idea what they are agreeing to.

How is this a shock?
I remember probably 10 years ago a post being shared about how to turn privacy on in settings. This was suppose to limit the data being shared.

For what it’s worth Facebook stocks closed up today, The same day Zuckerberg is testifying, with its biggest percentage gain in two years.

Its crazy how much people willingly give up their personal information but complain that someone looked at it or used it.
