If you accept, you will be drawn into whatever scam he's running. If you don't, you'll be on the shite list of a hardened criminal. Either way, prayers sent.

Prisoner could end up asking for money. They get paid minimum for their mini-shoppette allowances to buy extra drinks and such, and families usually end up putting money toward their balances each month.

Given that conjugal visits don't usually happen anymore, partially due to the fact that prisongays are not protected and nobody wants to spread acquired STDs out to the real world, I'd say the worst that could happen is your friend is bored and wants a pen pal.

Or, you could lie to dumb gossiping moms in your area and get them in an uproar about sex-offender prisoners supposedly Facebook stalking their daughters in prison.

SO what if he ask for money, it's not like he can strong arm you to giving it to him through Facebook. Accept is and see whats up. Find out what they had for chow today, it's probably about the most exciting thing that happened all day..

I wouldn't care if he asked for money one time. If it became a habit, that is when I'd stop giving it.

Not sure how he has fakebook but you could revitalize the lost art of talking in person. I envision it going something like this:

I sure as hell would.

Who doesn't want to know what inmates post to Facebook?

How'd it go? I have a friend pretty much in the same situation and have thought about visiting. Don't even know if it'd be worth it

When I visited him it was not too long after the incident and he was cocky about it, like it was no big deal. It pissed me off because it wasn't the guy I knew growing up.

This thread and the "I want to try meth just once" thread are the 2 bad ideas for the day.

OP he either wants money or you to throw a football full of dope over the fence. Nothing good will come of this for you.

He's doing life. He probably was trying to rationalize everything. He could either be cocky or he could cry. Something of that magnitude happening in your life requires an extreme reaction one way or another to cope.

I couldn't imagine waking up that first day at Angola knowing I'd likely never go home again. Especially being a young adult.

Yes to both questions. Seems less nefarious than I suspect you believe it to be.

Some inmates utilize a service to manage their social media accounts. They will send a list of people to the company to look up and request a connection. The service will print the screen shots of social media activity and mail it to them on a weekly or monthly basis.
Or he has an illegal phone.

.... Or they just use the computers which they ate occasionally granted access too.
