The bigger question is do you actually need a diesel when shopping for a Superduty. Gassers are the way to go for most Baws.

Platinums only come with black leather interior. It’s way too fricking hot in Louisiana for that. Lariat or king ranch with light interior

Put 3500lbs in the bed of your 150 and see what happens hoss. Your truck nuts will shrivel up to the size of peas

99% of the 250s sold don't carry 3.5k lbs in their bed over the life of the vehicle.

Some have to go with the 350 single wheel. A loaded 250 diesel without the heavy spring option has a pin weight rating that wouldn’t handle most fifth wheels. Not sure why more do not have them bc they are only about 500 to 600 more than the 250. Same truck, different springs front and (I think) back on the single rear wheel. Those plush options weight more than you think.

I have a 250 that actually gets used, but I am always towing close to my weight rating with this one. You can add me to the srw 350 crowd on the next one. The diesel is much more pleasant towing up a grade vs the gas screaming up a grade. The downshift high rpm thing gets old after a while.

My 250 was weak compared to my 2500hd as far as handling payload. Didn't really care for loading the 250 down with a pallet of sod or half cord of wood. My current truck has zero problems with those
