Wow, $247/wk all you receive filling unemployment in LA. That wouldn’t even cover my utilities.

What a shitshow. Don’t expect it any time soon. No telling how long it will take the retards of this state to disperse once they actually receive it from the feds. In fact I wouldn’t expect it at all.

I second that.

I guess they really want you to get off your arse and find a job.

Your utilities are $1000 a month? Geez, I thought my wife had a problem with the thermostat.

$247 max? Ouch
Ohio’s $480 seemed bad until I saw Florida and Louisiana’s payouts

The date April 17 had been mentioned. I’ll believe it when I see it.

Yea it’s rough being unemployed in Louisiana... it covers my rent and electricity though. So at least I have a place and lights on...

Everyone is going to get the back pay. So it’s not like you will miss out on it, just delayed.

That's $247 a WEEK, not a month.

In Louisiana the politicians retard the economic environment, then when companies cut back on the labor because they are not making money, the citizens of the state naturally blame the laid off person and then think that placing a cap at 247 is enough because after all if you don't have a job, it has to be the laid off guy's fault.

I got laid off when I was 40, had a job since I was 14. Never tried to collect. When I did that's how much they wanted to give me, $247 a week. That was a fricking disgrace.

I feel like payouts should be set up on how much taxes you paid throughout your lifetime. $247/wk being the minimum. But racist, I know.
