So you read it on Facebook, you admit you haven’t actually looked into any of it to verify whether it’s true, but you shared anyway because it “seemed like a lot of facts.”

This is a huge part of what’s wrong with our country.

Let me help you with what I was able to find in a matter of 5 minutes:

1. There’s zero legit source to the claims that AT&T was contracted to do some sort of forensic audit for Dominion. I can’t find a single verifiable link to the claim that originated before the explosion. In fact, the ONLY source I can find is a picture of a Facebook post that was supposedly from 4 days before the explosion, but is (again, supposedly) no longer public. If I showed you an image of a FB post from 2 weeks ago with the Powerball numbers, would you think I won the lottery?

2. William Kennard is not on the board of Cerberus Capital Management. He also never owned the AT&T Building in Nashville - his only connection to that building is the fact that he IS in fact Chairman of the Board for AT&T.

3. Staple Street Capital doesn’t run Cerberus Capital Management. Staple Street does own Dominion Voting Systems, so I guess you can chalk this inaccuracy up to how hard it is to keep up with all of the conspiracies.

4. The AT&T Building in Nashville was briefly owned by Cerberus Capital Management from 2006-2007. However, the AT&T Building in Nashville is a 600-ft. tall office building... a completely different building from the one destroyed in the explosion.

I’m not going to bother with the rest of the nonsense about supercomputers and river water cooling systems that were supposedly knocked offline.

It never ceases to amaze me how people will believe any made up shite they read on Facebook or Twitter.
