It was definitely something because the news is reporting it, seems it's concentrated around Frenchtown and Thibodeaux Rd area.

I have many friends that still live in that area so I'm sure something will pop up on FB soon.

there wasn't shite in Central back then. I grew up there in the 80s-early 90s. It started growing a good bit when they seceded from EBR schools.

Maybe so. I hardly recognize the place now though.

The flood set it back some but it looks vastly different from when I lived there from 1978-1996.

Danny's Fried Chicken...TG&Y... We had to drive halfway down Greenwell Springs to get to a McDonalds. Kids in Central today don't realize how good they got it.
